On June 1st, young residents of St Petersburg flocked to Alexandrovsky Gardens for a family celebration of Sweet Tooth Day, to mark International Children’s Day. The young sweet-toothed lovers were treated to a theatre show, exciting games and competitions. Winners received fantastic presents from sponsors, including Petrushka’s delicious chocolate eggs, and a variety of games. Easter Eggs for the Easter Season

Eggs are some of the most traditional gifts at Easter time, and are often presented together with an inspiring Easter card. Landrin’s "Krashenki" chocolate egg series has been developed especially for the Easter season, bringing together an Easter egg and a greeting card in one. Inside the Krashenki chocolate eggs, you will find heart-warming lines written by classical Russian authors, printed on greeting cards created by Elizabeth Bem, one of the most well-known nineteenth-century Russian artists, famed for her postcards.

Krashenki — heartfelt wishes in every chocolate egg!

Chocolate Eggs in the World of Fashion

Silver Thread, the grand finale of the regional stage of the International Competition of Amateur Fashion Designers, took place at St Petersburg’s State University of Technology and Design on April 19th. Landrin was a sponsor of the event, presenting its "Petrushka" and “Brave Soldiers" lines of chocolate eggs as gifts to the young participants, who were modelling the clothes made by their parents. Like all children, the young contenders were more excited about the gifts than by the loud rounds of applause they received. As soon as the organisers handed out the prizes, the sweet treats were unwrapped and promptly eaten! The kids gave a great performance and Landrin gave them delicious treats to celebrate.

Soulmate — an esteemed winner of the "Mystery Purchase"

For the second time, the Mystery Purchase programme shown on Channel One television channel made secret purchases of chocolate eggs. About a year ago, Landrin’s "Petrushka" line was declared the winner. The presenter at the time told Landrin, to “keep it up". His message did not go unheeded.

The new series of the show premiered on April 17. As usual, seven brands of chocolate eggs were tested, including Landrin’s "Soulmate" and “Disney" lines. Both these brands easily made it into the finals, with the opinions of randomly selected shoppers and those of laboratory experts in unanimous agreement. Just as last year, the chocolate won praise for being the tastiest brand and of the highest quality. Landrin’s Soulmate line won, followed closely by Disney.

We are once again honoured to be able to thank our customers for their trust and loyalty. There can be no better motivation for us to work hard for you!

A Historic Event from Landrin — Ancient Rome

The new collection of Landrin’s "Brave Soldiers" series is devoted to one of the world’s greatest empires — Ancient Rome. The collection features two rival sides, the Romans and the Gauls. The collection includes two real historical characters: Emperor Caesar and Gaul’s leader, Vercingetorix. For the first time the collection features chocolate eggs with two toys inside! Among the Gauls is a new character with a dog. Having two rival sides in one collection allows for the recreation of battles, making play with the toys more appealing, and allowing children to put together detachments or even whole armies!

During the Maslenitsa Week, some 20,000 people visited. Petrushka was present at every event, bringing laughter and joy to the visiting children and their parents. The guests were treated to traditional Russian drinks, sbiten and mead. For dessert, Landrin’s "Waferatto Classic" sweets were served and they were loved by children and parents alike!
