Landrin wins Disney Award

The Walt Disney Company (CIS) LLC has presented an award to Landrin Confectionary, producers of chocolate egg and toy collections. The award was given at the Annual Conference of Disney Licensees where the Disney Consumer Products Department summed up the year and discussed the way forward for future plans. Landrin won the prize for the best Disney brand management with its collections "Pirates of the Caribbean — Dead Man’s Chest", “Cars" and “Winnie". The brand management process involved complex work from the creation of the product to its promotion. Highly noted was Landrin’s design studio, which was praised for its detailed artwork of the toy characters.

 

Hunting Season starts during school vacation!

The "Open Season" blockbuster will be first shown in October. The characters of this crazy comedy are brought to life in the new chocolate egg collection from Landrin Confectionary. The collection includes stay-at-home grizzly Boog who never parts with his teddy bear, Eliot the cool deer, and many more forest animal creatures. Parents and children alike will love the true-to-life characters in this endearing toy collection.

 

From July 15th to August 31st Landrin held a series of "Turn into a Pirate" promotional events at St. Petersburg’s Crystal Palace Cinema, and the city’s larger supermarkets. The events were timed to coincide with the release of Landrin’s new chocolate egg collection “Pirates of the Caribbean — Dead Man’s Chest". Thousands of children and teenagers participated. Those who wished had an opportunity to try on Jack Sparrow or Will Turner outfits with the help of professional make-up artists. Cinema tickets were raffled off and the children got to keep photos taken of them dressed up as their favourite characters — a wonderful keepsake of their memorable day!

 

June 11th saw Landrin take part in the Day of Russia festival in the Republic of Estonia. The event was held at the former von der Pahlen estate. Festival visitors were able to see the full range of Landrin’s products on display, and a chocolate egg was given to every little guest. A folk group also performed at the festival. Representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission in Estonia, extended their warmest appreciation to Landrin for assistance in organising the event.

 

July 13th — Premiere of the Blockbuster —"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest".

Timed to coincide with the premiere of the blockbuster movie, the new "Pirates of the Caribbean — Dead Man’s Chest" chocolate egg collection will hit store shelves. This pirate collection is a diverse and high quality variety of toys including authentic pirate tattoos, intricately detailed pirate amulets, and magnets featuring the film’s characters. You can collect Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Dave Jones and many other characters.

 

The annual conference of the Sales and Distribution Department was held in St. Petersburg, reviewing the results for 2005. Plans for the company’s future development were also discussed. As part of the conference, a football tournament was held. Four teams took part, with the Ural team winning the overall "Russian" title, and the North-West Russian team coming in second.

 

June 9th — World Premiere of the Super Blockbuster movie "Cars" — from Disney and Pixar animation.

The cheerful life of automobiles is brought to life in this amazing animated adventure of a cleverly written story and comedy. Simultaneously with the release of the wide-screen movie, Landrin has brought out a new collection of chocolate eggs containing surprise “Cars". The toys will include cars based on the film’s characters, cars with rotating wheels and magnets depicting the film’s heroes. All hidden inside the finest milk chocolate, and brightly-coloured packaging.
